Video Poker Transmutations and Games
There are new machines for video poker being released in the casinos that contain some transmutations of the basic 5-card draw. Common types would include Deuces Wild, wherein a two would act as the wild card and jackpots are paid out if a player possesses either a natural royal or four deuces; Pay Schedule Modification, wherein 4 aces containing a five or a smaller kicker would pay a bigger amount; Multi-play poker, wherein players may start with a base hand containing five cards wherefrom each additional hand would then draw from another set of cards with the removal of the base hand. Oftentimes, in the games that do not possess a wild card, the player who plays with five or six hundred hands average at a given hour might be given the rare four-of-a-kind, which is estimated as a single occurrence per hour.
In Video Poker there are different variations available. There is what we call "Full pay" video poker machines, which are games that tender a common and usual percentage of maximum payback. Casinos will more times than not, install full pay machines beside other machines with pay schedules that would give a less enticing payback percentage as a form of strategy.
The next variation to be discussed is said to be the most common of transmutations of video poker. It is called "Jacks or Better". It is here that payoffs initialize upon a couple of jacks or better.
The third variation to be discussed here is "Deuces Wild". This is an offshoot of video poker wherein all number twos are considered as wild cards. The wild cards may be used in place of any card in a deck so that the player can have a better hand. The payout involved for a four of a kind amounts to about a third of the games payback percentage. Meanwhile, a four of a kind may arise on an average of about every fifteen hands.
Another video poker variation is "Double Bonus" which is an offshoot of Jacks or Better that contains a payout bonus for four aces. Such a variation will give an approximate return of 100.1725 percent if the player plays it with a perfect strategy in mind.
The last transmutation of the video poker game to be discussed here is yet another variant of the Jacks or Better, and is known as "Double Double Bonus". The full pay version can be located with the pay schedules that give a theoretical return of up to 100.067 percent. Again, if it is played with a perfect strategy at hand!
